Summer is already here and I know some of the companies in the Metropolis are looking for a perfect venue for a team building. That can either be a beach, resort, or even city hotels with function rooms.
Though team building activity is about making strategies and creating strong relationship among the team, it must also be a place for relaxation from the corporate jobs that everyone else is facing. One thing to consider for a team building venue is the location. Because first, location can consume much of your time in travelling. And second, if it’s far away, it will just create inconvenience to everyone.
And just so timely, our department did a team building in Tagaytay which is just an hour drive from Makati city going to the venue. As we all know, Tagaytay offers a fresh and cold air that is just so ideal with the summer season.
We spent a 2-day and 1-night team building at Anya Resort and Residences Tagaytay. The resort is located in one of the most peaceful areas of Tagaytay that is perfect for groups or individual travellers who are looking for a quiet place.
Anya Resort and Residences Tagaytay offers spacious accommodations with a touch of Filipino style and design. They have junior twin and junior king suites, veranda suite, and garden suite. The room also showcases a classic vibe that will satisfy the demand of the guests.
A part of our package was a day use of a function room where our team building activity happened. Their venues are designed for any types of events such as weddings, birthdays, and even corporate meetings.
On the other hand, Anya Resort Tagaytay is open for your daily cravings. You can indulge on their wide and wholesome culinary dining outlets. First, there is Viernes Social Club that features Spanish tapas and live cooking of the famous paella. Second, the Samira Restaurant that is known for its Mediterranean dishes. And lastly, the Amra Deli Bar that allows you for an indoor or al fresco dining of your choice where you can enjoy fine wines and savory cheeses.
Now, if you want to spend a recreational activity after your team building, you can splash all you want in their swimming pool that features an adult-sized heated pool and kiddie pool. You can also enjoy living a healthy life in Anya’s fully-equipped gym. There’s also a library for the bookworms who would rather relax in couches while reading their favorite books. And of course, after a day of activities, you can pamper yourself in Niyama Spa with an array of face and body treaments.
THE ROOM
We had a triple sharing during our stay in Anya in a junior twin suite room. The room is perfect for families or couples on vacation. It can accommodate 2-3 persons with a floor size of 47-69 square meter.
The room comes with a spacious and clean bathroom, cable HD LED TV, an access to the balcony, mini bar, and organic premium bath and personal care essentials.
Interior wise, you can feel the Filipino and Spanish vibe because of hues and tones of browns. And even the patterns and materials you can see inside the room.
You are also allowed to relax in the veranda of the room which is just right if you want to sip a coffee in the morning or make a chit chat with your friends in the evening.

INTERACTION QUALITY
*Staff were all attentive with our needs specially when our room TV isn’t working.
*Staff were so patient with us. They remain composed with the demands we had during our stay
*Staff assisted us as fast as they can. So it’s a kudos to every operations staff of Anya!

FACILITIES QUALITY
*Outdoor facilities were great. First, their pool, that allowed everyone to enjoy its space. And second, their library, that is so relaxing.
*Room facilities however isn’t that good– TV wasn’t working when we first used it. The CR door lock isn’t functioning too.
*Beds were all comfortable. Just right for my bed and pillow preference.

*Overall experience was awesome. The team enjoyed the time spent in Anya.
*We were not deprived with space and service that we expected.
*Small details of room facilities can be improved.
